DealNav LLC ("DealNav," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal data is handled securely and responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you access our services (the "Services"). By using our Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will become effective on the earlier of: (i) us providing you with notice of the changes (including by email, by posting a notice on the Services, or by other reasonable means), or (ii) 30 days after the updated Privacy Policy has been posted on the Services. Changes made to comply with applicable law will be effective immediately. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed of any updates.
We collect personal information in various ways, including:
We use the collected information to:
You may optionally connect a Gmail or Outlook mailbox so that correspondence appears alongside the related contacts and deals. The connection is read-only: DealNav cannot send, modify, or delete email in your mailbox. We sync message headers, participants, subject, and body for roughly the previous six months and then new and changed messages. Attachments are never downloaded or stored. Your mailbox credentials are held by an integration service that DealNav hosts in its own cloud environment and are never written to the DealNav application database. Other DealNav users cannot see your synced messages unless you link a thread to a contact or deal your team shares. Disconnecting a mailbox removes its synced messages from DealNav.
Documents you attach to a property, deal, or contact are stored in a private storage bucket with our cloud provider and are shared only through links that expire within minutes, and only with people in your company who can see the record. DealNav does not read the contents of your files. Deleting a file removes it from our storage, and your company's remaining files are deleted on request when your account closes.
DealNav employs industry-standard security measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:
Card payments are handled by Stripe's hosted checkout. DealNav never stores full card numbers.
We do not sell personal data. However, we may share information under the following circumstances:
If your organization creates an API key or connects an AI assistant or other tool to DealNav, that tool receives the records you allow it to access. What it does with them is governed by its own terms, not this policy.
We comply with applicable U.S. privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other relevant regulations. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].
If you access our Services from outside the U.S., please be aware that your information may be transferred to and stored in the United States or other jurisdictions with different data protection laws.
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Upon account termination, we may anonymize data for analytics and business improvements. Disconnecting a mailbox removes its synced messages from DealNav. Copies of deleted data may remain in routine backups for a limited time before they are overwritten. To request deletion of your account or data, contact us at the address below.
DealNav's Services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected such data, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
You may opt out of marketing emails by following the unsubscribe link in our emails. You may also manage tracking preferences through your browser or device settings.
Our marketing tools, which load on our website and in the app, may set cookies so that we can show DealNav ads to people who have visited, through ad networks such as Google, Meta, and LinkedIn. When you start a free trial, we report it to Google Ads so we can see which of our ads lead to sign-ups. We send this report for every trial, whether or not you came from an ad. It includes a checkout reference and a coded copy of your email address (a SHA-256 hash) that your browser creates before anything is sent. It never includes your name or your email address itself. Google can match the coded copy to a Google account that uses the same email, and uses that match to connect your trial to a DealNav ad. You can limit this through your browser or device settings and the ad settings of the relevant ad network.
If you have any questions regarding this Privacy Policy, our data handling practices, or wish to exercise your rights, please contact us at [email protected].
